Buddy Cummings – President

Buddy has proudly served as President of The Pink Ride since 2018, after first volunteering with the organization from 2014 to 2016. A lifelong resident of Hampton Roads, Buddy has called Virginia Beach home for many years.
With a strong history of community involvement, Buddy has contributed to numerous charitable organizations, including the Chesapeake Kiwanis Club, Virginia Beach Fallen Heroes, the Electric League of Norfolk, and the Bartenders Ball. He is also a proud member of the Tidewater ASA Softball Hall of Fame, recognizing his longstanding commitment to service and leadership.
Outside of his nonprofit work, Buddy is a dedicated family man with one son and three beloved grandchildren. His passion for supporting others continues to inspire his work with The Pink Ride and the broader community.
Rico Mann – Vice President

Brought in as a result of more than 10 years of charitable organization management and work with The Pink Ride’s President, Buddy Cummings, Rico comes to The Pink Ride Board of Directors with a wealth of experience in Communication Arts and Design, Financial Analysis and Planning, Sports Entertainment, 501(c)(3) Regulations and Compliance, and overall business management.
Rico is responsible for the design and creation of all visual media representing The Pink Ride and for maintaining consistency in our branding across multiple platforms. It is his goal not only to present The Pink Ride in the most polished and professional light, but to remind our sponsors, volunteers, and event attendees of the reason we do this; to support local individuals fighting breast cancer.
He is the current managing member, designer, and operations manager for Parks, Millican & Mann Championship Belts and Awards. They design and/or create championship belts for WWE, AEW, NJPW, TNA, ROH, Zero1, UFC, Bellator MMA, and virtually every major combat sports and/or sports entertainment company in the world. Other clients include Garth Brooks, Madonna, KISS, Jason Aldean, Spike TV’s Lip Sync Battle, Viacom, DirecTV, and etc….
Aimee Rhodes – Director

Aimee is a Virginia Beach native with over two decades of leadership in nonprofit and community service. Her passion for breast cancer awareness and support shines through her co-founding of the Surf For The Cure Foundation and her dedicated volunteer work with The Pink Ride. After contributing significantly to The Pink Ride’s 2024 annual golf tournament and flagship event, she was honored to join their Board of Directors in April 2025.
Ms. Rhodes brings firsthand knowledge of The Pink Ride’s mission and its vital role in supporting local breast cancer patients. Her wide-ranging experience also spans environmental advocacy and adaptive sports, highlighted by her leadership roles in several community-focused organizations:

Sue Rooney – Director

Sue joined The Pink Ride’s Board of Directors in 2024 after actively volunteering for over a year, inspired by personal experiences supporting friends through chemotherapy. Passionate about helping women facing cancer, Sue is committed to The Pink Ride’s mission of easing the financial burdens of treatment.
A Virginia Beach resident and small business owner, Sue also volunteers with the Virginia Beach Bluewater Fishing Club, supporting youth through community outreach. She’s a proud mom and grandma who enjoys beach days, bike rides, and giving back to her community.
Doti Pleasants – Director

Doti is a proud mother of two wonderful children who are now building beautiful families of their own. She lives in Virginia Beach with her beloved six-year-old rescue dog, Nikki. A native of Virginia Beach, Doti spent 13 years in the Richmond area before returning home in 2023.
Doti’s journey with The Pink Ride began when she volunteered at the 2024 Golf Tournament, and she was honored to join the board as a Director in 2025. Her passion for breast cancer awareness was sparked in her teenage years after meeting an extraordinary woman in her 30s who bravely battled breast cancer for a decade. That woman’s spirit, courage, and enduring positivity left a lifelong impact on Doti, inspiring over two decades of volunteer work dedicated to breast cancer causes. Doti is truly grateful to be part of The Pink Ride’s mission and looks forward to making a meaningful difference in the community.
Karon Porter – Director

Karon, brings a passionate commitment to breast cancer awareness and community service to her role on the Board of Directors for The Pink Ride. She began her involvement with the organization as a volunteer, contributing her time and energy to both the annual Golf Tournament and the signature Pink Ride event for 2024.
Her dedication and compassionate spirit helped ensure the success of these events and strengthened support for local breast cancer patients in need. Now, as a board member, Karon is committed to furthering The Pink Ride’s mission through advocacy, education, and support services, including expanding access to early detection and mobile mammogram initiatives. She is proud to be part of a team that uplifts survivors and empowers communities across the region.
Jason Munden – Director

Jason Munden joined The Pink Ride Board in early 2025 after actively volunteering with the organization since 2023. He has supported multiple events, including two golf tournaments, a motorcycle ride, and two Riders Appreciation gatherings.
Jason is honored to be part of an organization that truly makes a difference in people’s lives, especially those affected by breast cancer. A longtime local, he’s spent 40 years in the area—30 in Virginia Beach and 10 in Chesapeake—and currently resides in Virginia Beach.
By day, Jason is a dedicated plumbing contractor; by night, he channels his creativity as a musician.

Terri Ann Bruch – In Loving Memory

Terri Ann Bruch, 61, of Virginia Beach, VA, passed away peacefully at home on March 12, 2025. She was born on April 2, 1963, in Maine to Robert and MaryHelen Davis.
Terri was the beloved wife of George William Bruch, the love of her life. They met at the submarine base in Groton, CT, while George was serving in the Navy and married on September 2, 1989. Together, they shared 35 wonderful years of marriage filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
For over 20 years, Terri dedicated herself to her career at the Navy Exchange HQ, where she made lasting friendships and took pride in her work. Outside of her career, she had a passion for crafting, antiquing, thrifting, and gardening—maintaining both a beautiful flower and vegetable garden. She was also a devoted member of a scrapbooking club and treasured her summer vacations in Maine and special trips with her sister, Bonnie.
Terri is survived by her parents, MaryHelen and Robert E. Davis of Ellsworth, Maine, her devoted husband, George, and their five children: Erica (William) Wilburn, Michelle (Dixson) Gossom, Megan Field, Ashley (Kyle) Everard, and Pam (Daniel) Motes. She is also survived by her sister, Bonnie Mouland; brothers, Troy (Kathy) Davis and Kenny (Erlin) Davis; and her 14 beloved grandchildren: Channing (Christina), Parker, Ashden, Alexandria (Destin), Benjamin, Michael, Lizzy, Nathan, Claire, Lilly, Katelyn, Robyn, Robbie, and Jenna.
